Our earliest childhood memories include making homemade tomato sauce in our Nonna’s driveway located in Corona, Queens. Being apart of five children, we all had our jobs. From cleaning bushels of raw tomatoes to jarring the sauce with fresh basil there was always enough made so you never left Sunday dinner hungry. An Irish-Victorian Bar and Restaurant, just steps from Union Square. In the "Ladies' Mile District" of days gone by. The interior has a distinctly late 19th century feel with wooden furnishings brought from Belfast, Ireland.Serving a wide range of domestic and international beers 25 on tap. A great selection of whiskeys and wines, including some excellent wine from the Langtry Winery in California where Lillie herself owned and lived for a time.The food is traditional Pub Fare. ML is out of the way for us, but it is worth the trip. Menu always impresses and it's hard to choose. We ALWAYS include an order of the buffalo cauli mac because it's our absolute fave, but it's best to order a bunch and share (if you're into that!). So many great choices & generous portions at a fair price. One of the best.
