Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. Whitley was phenomenal! She was the only server, but handled a party of 14 like a pro! Food was good! Kudos to the chef who was by himself, as well! Well done!

The Grove is a hidden gem. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It is a good place to go for a nice dinner with good size portions at a reasonable price. The ambience was nice with an upscale crowd. The hostess Ms. Ethel is very knowledgeable about The Grove and treated us like family. I highly recommend The Grove and will definitely return.
