Prickett Richard is a cocktail bar located in the underbelly of Comery Block Barbecue. You’ll find the entrance in the back alley just off the corner of 17th Avenue and 6th Street SW. Look for the steel door and head inside. You’ll see a kitchen on your left, don’t go in there, just head downstairs and through the wooden clad door straight ahead. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are available based on availability.

South Block is a North-Carolina inspired BBQ hall and brewery on the edge of Mission, in Calgary. Upstairs you’ll find a large dining room, 20-seat bar, and a year-round indoor/outdoor beer garden. Downstairs hosts our stage, live music hall, and brewerey – where we brew our entire draft lineup from classic staples like our Pilsner, Lager, and IPAs, to our unique seasonal Peach Bourbon Ale and Mango Wheat Ale.Behind the bar, we run a hand-crafted cocktail program and offer a whiskey list of over 200 varietals, including American, Canadian, Irish, Scottish, and Japanese whiskeys.However, the biggest draw has to be our slow-smoked barbecue menu.     Get the spaghetti meatballs. The contrast between the wagyu tomato meatballs and the blanco truffle pasta was amazing. The pesto didn’t really stand out and I don’t think we would get it again. Although it could be that we were just blown away by the first pasta dish. Pear and Brie pizza was really good as well. Will definitely be back!

    Been a few times now with grand boys and hubby. They have a great affordable kids menu with a nice selection & the food has been consistently delicious.😊

    Stopped in for a drink after dinner. Space is very cool and makes for a great atmosphere. It was really loud so not great for conversation but the music was good and since we were just there for 1 drink it was fine. Service was average, our server was quite soft spoken so had a hard time hearing her. She didn’t really introduce us to the cocktail menu or mention whether or not the bartenders would do other cocktails based on spirit/taste etc. Drinks were good and the space has a great vibe. Would go back for sure, but wasn’t blown away.

    Our server was excellent! We only stayed for one drink because we had other plans, but we enjoyed our visit to Proof!
