Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our aim is to deliver an extraordinary and immersive dining experience where the servers guide guests through an exploration of many small plates highlighting seasonal ingredients while offering insight into each dish. We also offer an optional wine pairing and are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions with advance notice.Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening where guests choose between the 5-course or the 8-course* tasting menu. Fabulous dinner at La Bartola for my vegan son’s 25th birthday. Excellent professional service by Santana. We had the tastings menu 7 courses - fun way to experience the food. They kindly put a candle in my son’s dessert and brought him a free celebratory glass of sparkling wine without being asked. They also rescheduled our dinner with no problem to a different day with less than 24 hours notice when my son’s flight home was cancelled. All staff and ambience are very charming.

Had a wonderful dinner with attentive staff and delicious and beautifully plated appetizers & entrees, layered flavours and desserts that were so so good. Would recommend and definitely return for seconds!

Servers were all lovely, every course was unique and delicious, and they had multiple non-alcoholic options which is always a fun treat. Definitely worth an experience if you’re vegan in Toronto. And they made sure my soy-allergy didn’t interfere at all with having the complete experience.

I come here a lot! Always go for the bang bang broccoli, crispy rice, queen gem salad (sooo good) and the desserts

Exceptional food and drinks. Beautiful space. The mushroom adobo skewers are a must have, and the spice cake is worth saving room for (chef’s kiss!)
