A really enjoyable festive Sunday lunch for 4. We all ordered different starters, mains & desserts and everyone was really pleased with their choices. An impressive choice of wines by the glass, very pleasant service and only 4mins walk from the Dart station. Will be back.

I think its fair to say this was our best ever visit to 1909. It was busy, but we enjoyed top class service, food - but the drinks stole the show. A fantastic night which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, we'll be back!

We were a group of 8 and were very well looked after by the wonderful staff on a busy night. Great explanations of the menu and helpful with choosing wine. The service was really outstanding and the food was delicious, especially the slow cooked featherblade of beef. A great place for a large group - there were a few large groups but the staff (and the kitchen!) were experienced enough to manage it all.

Always enjoy eating in pit bros bbq. Moist delicious meat and sides are lovely. If i was to nit pick when you get a large sharing platter you couldn't eat it on a small table with drinks and sides but the lovely staff had no problem moving us.

Lovely brunch. Staff good humoured and helpful. Table by window overlooking sea… what a view. Coffees and pastries/sandwiches were delicious 🙏
