Beautiful coffee, toasties and brunch with an incredible view! There are limited indoor seats available to book but we have blankets available for all our outdoor seating to keep you nice and cosy. For the next few months we will only be taking bookings for our Indoor seats as the weather is a little too unpredictable for the next couple of months. We will be doing a waitlist for seats too.Championing young adults with Down Syndrome through our partnership with Together Academy.

Bright and airy, with a vintage retro style and featuring distressed wooden tables topped in white marble, salvage greenhouse window frames and comfy linen banquettes, Salt continues Avoca’s emphasis on serving delicious, seasonal dishes with largely locally sourced ingredients. Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. Excellent food with the right size portions for a 3 course meal. The complementary small tasty soup is a lovely gesture and all the courses are beautifully presented and taste great. Warm but unobtrusive service and no rushing customers to get the table back. Highly recommended.

Lovely brunch. Staff good humoured and helpful. Table by window overlooking sea… what a view. Coffees and pastries/sandwiches were delicious 🙏

Everything about the place was excellent but the only gripe was that the Guinness Pie, as written in menu, was not a Pie!! Small portion of cubed meat and mash on plate!! Very disappointed as never had a Pie with no pastry!!!
