The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. Hochi Mama was the God Mother of all aspiring street artists and rappers in the early nineties. An immigrant in the big city, she hosted underground art shows along with rap battles for the rejects; a place where you could just be at home, but with family. The whole crew was always welcome, the more the merrier, and she was well renowned for creating innovative dishes using the original famous dishes from her home country, and plenty of booze, in her spacious and homey warehouse.This cheeky, vibrant and buzzing Vietnamese Fusion venue is one for your to-do list.     We were seated outside, which was lovely, but there was no service at all. So this meant we had to keep going inside to order a wine or our food. That was a bit disappointing.

    If you are looking for a fine dining venue other than the pubs, there are few options between Sorrento and Portsea. Portsea in particular has lacked in this space especially. Thank god for Pompette. The bar has a great atmosphere and mood. Staff are vibrant and the wine and food offerings are outstanding. would be my number one choice in the area.

    Food was amazing as always but disappointed to see that we were charged for the chilli and Parmesan cheese that we requested to have with our pasta and even a charge for bread. Most Italian restaurants provide all 3 free of charge.

    I ordered the Eggs Benny that came with pulled pork. Interesting combination. I did not enjoy it at all. The bread was hard to cut, there was way too much pulled pork and just a drizzle of the hollandaise sauce. Disappointing considering it cost $27. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
