There can be no better local dining experience.The Brasserie is located on the ground floor and seats around 30 diners. It serves Breakfast (8:00 to 10:00) every day, Dinner (17:00 - 20:30 Last Orders) Wed - Sun, and Lunch (12 noon - 15:30) Saturday and Sunday. Our menus focus on home made dishes, using tasty, fresh produce from artisan suppliers. We're happy to accomodate any dietary requirements and preferences. Built in 1591, the Tolbooth Tavern in Edinburgh was formerly part of the original Canongate Tolbooth. This medieval building was used to divide the Royal Burgh of Edinburgh and Canongate.
