Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. I chose the Greene Oak for a family birthday meal as the food never disappoints and we always receive great service. Today was no exception and they even did a small birthday dessert as a surprise which was much appreciated. We will be back again soon!

The staff were amazing, friendly, attentive and very polite and pleasant. Overall we had a great afternoon. The only thing I would like to mention is that the roast lamb was very tough and rubbery on the day. Most of us actually left the meat as it was hard to chew.
