However, later table bookings from 7:30pm onwards are given the table until close.Our Bourne End restaurant welcomes dogs to our side terrace only, to accommodate any guests that may have allergies. On recommendation, we booked for 8pm and were met promptly and politely by the FOH Staff and led upstairs - the room was really pleasant, the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Started with a couple of cocktails then the scallops which we shared then the bream and the sole. Both were excellent. We had the Chardonnay from the ‘other wines’ list and it matched perfectly. Finished with asking if they could make a Widow’s Kiss cocktail (they could and it was great) I didn’t know there was a ‘downstairs’ but we were shown it, it looked as relaxing as upstairs. What was funny was my jacket seemed to catch people’s attention - it’s an action-backed tweed sports jacket, if you’re interested! Yeah, we liked it. We will be back.
