There are plenty of activities on our doorstep with wonderful walks and the picturesque Forest Way trail close. Groombridge also benefits from having Harrisons Rocks for keen climbers and the perfect cycling routes across the Ashdown Forest.     The warm greeting when we arrived at the restaurant made us most welcome. We were served quickly and our drinks arrived promptly. The lunch ambience was excellent and the excellent service was complimented by the fantastic Spanish menu choices. The paella was probably one of the best I and my guests have ever eaten even when in Spain. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this Restaurant and the team that served us and I will be returning with my guests many times again. Brilliant choice

    We had a very nice meal and good service, however we all felt very cold and asked for a nearby electric radiator to be turned on, which was done immediately without any fuss.

    Food and service is excellent. Very friendly and the Hanger Steak is a superb dish. Incredibly tasty. Cheeseboard - solid choices of cheese. The Afogato with homemade donuts was a great twist. Definitely recommend.
