The Basement Brewhouse situated in Bankstown Sports Club features it’s own microbrewery specialising in craft beer that’s brewed in-house and offers a wide variety of craft beers within Australia and around the world. A sophisticated restaurant, with a large balcony overlooking the lush green of Brighton Lakes. There is something for everyone at The Pavilion Restaurant.In the late 1920s, a group of golfers created the North Brighton Golf Club on the opposite side of the Cooks River to Sydney Airport, using a tin shed on the course as a clubhouse and paying two shillings in rent to the landowner for their 18 holes.The rapid growth of international air transport after WWII meant major runway extensions that eventually forced the Club to find a new home, and in 1950 a new site in Milperra was found, and the New Brighton Golf Club was formed.In 1979, the Club had part of the course resumed to make way for the building of the M5 Motorway. Construction of four new replacement golf holes commenced in June 1980, with players teeing off from 1982. The necessary redesign of the layout enabled New Brighton to attain Group One status.

Food is delicious and service and service is fantastic. Having kids running around inside and bouncing a basketball is not the best when trying to enjoy a meal.

We visited during the Mothers Day buffet offer. Amazing value and great variety of foods to meet every family members taste buds. The staff were incredible, checking how we were gong, offering assistance and making sure everyone enjoyed themselves and the food. Food was topped up, hot and delicious AT ALL TIMES. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My Mother’s Day felt so special that we will do this again! Highly recommended buffet.
