Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. No wonder this place was absolutely chockers inside and out on a warm Fitzroy evening! Very welcoming vibe and great service, excellent wines to choose from and the meal was delicious. Always reliably enjoyable!

A great find - very busy on a Tuesday lunchtime. An extensive menu and although we only had a main course each, it was fresh, well cooked and delicious.

Took my partner here for her birthday and the food was an absolute ripper! We had a Fiano wine that went perfectly well with our food. The owner was very warm and welcoming . Highly recommend
