Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea. Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. Our waitress was so lovely and kind. The food was delicious. I took 9 teenage girls for the banquet and was not disappointed.

My partner and I dined at Eastside bar and Grill for the Tuesday $98 Tomahawk steak deal and it was amazing. The steak was incredibly tender and the pepper, mushroom gravy and truffle mayo were perfect accompaniments. We had steak fries and green beans as sides and the green beans were exceptional. The atmosphere was intimate with candlelight, making a great setting for a special evening. The staff were phenomenal, especially helping me surprise my partner with a beautifully decorated chocolate lava cake for his birthday. Overall the food, service, and ambience were outstanding. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back!
