The last of its kind near 42nd Street, Chez Josephine is a neighborhood gem founded in 1986 by Jean-Claude Baker as a tribute to legendary Josephine Baker. This Parisian bistro offers live piano music and a tantalizing menu in an intimate setting of red velvet walls, a cavalcade of chandeliers and a blue-tin ceiling. Ristorante pieno di atmosfera, musica jazz dal vivo, ambiente raffinato ed elegante, ottime portate. Il servizio come in tutti gli altri ristoranti di New York in cui siamo stati più che ottimo, personale che fa di tutto per fa capire i piatti a noi che di inglese poco capiamo. A fine cena abbiamo chiesto della frutta, ci hanno detto di non averla ma poi arrivano due piattini con dei frutti di bosco che usano per fare i cocktail, che dire se questa non è coccolare il cliente. Bravi.
