Lovely pub, lovely food. Very welcoming and dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The staff and ambiance as always were welcoming and helpful. The Oysters were so fresh and delicious, as were the langoustines. I had the famous fish & chips which never disappoints and my wife had the Dover Sole which she really enjoyed. We can’t recommend this place enough

Lovely lunch prior to meeting with the wedding coordinator all 3 mains lovely ( the parmesan and truffle fries are sublime) Don't leave without trying the Tempus Sundae, and make sure you visit the toilets - quirkiest toilets around.

Overall brilliant experience, food , service, staff all excellent, let down by the front door being constantly left open to allow a bitter freezing cold wind into the room , no one wants to sit in a bar paying almost £20 for 2 drinks freezing cold , suggested putting a self closing arm on the door , the lady took this onboard, and said she would pass on our suggestion, room was also very cold , you should not be paying £220 for a room to have to put a dressing gown and have to get into bed .

Service was fantastic.Fpod took a wee while to come but was well worth the wait.Food was evidently freshly cooked . Fish was the best fish hadin a long time Attentive staff -would recommend 100% Will return in future 😃
