August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Celebrated my son's 21st Birthday with a set menu for 10 ordering the Wagyu rump drop. Amazing food, value, service and ambience. Staff were excellent - caring, considerate and attentive and made it a successful and joyous event. Venue was gorgeous, classy and felt like a high class resort. Thank you very much to Black Hide - looking forward to dining there again.

You cannot go through life with out experiencing this restaurant. The food is outstanding, fresh with mouth watering flavours I couldn't get enough of. The wait staff are excellent, very attentive & seemed to be always there when we needed them without hovering. Wine selection is great & perfectly accompanied the food.
