The Assembly House is a gorgeous Georgian gem perfectly located in the heart of Norwich. We set out to create the kind of establishment we'd love to find in one of the UK's most beautiful cities, one where old-fashioned hospitality is valued, food is delicious and where beautiful surroundings can be found hidden around every corner.From breakfast where we serve our unique Beforenoon Tea - the breakfast edition of afternoon tea - to lunch which includes Assembly House classics and grazing boards, we're open seven days a week. We're most famous for our themed afternoon teas which change regularly and are served from noon until last service at 3.30pm daily. As the Home of Afternoon Tea, we also serve some spectacular savoury versions of tea, including Beforenoon Tea, seafood option Afternoon Sea and our cheese-based option Afternoon Cheese. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

First time going to Estabulo today and wow it was amazing! The venue is stunning, I love the low light, the flowers, the vibe it gave off was fab. The salad bar was fantastic with so many options that I didn't even think would be there. Eg. Garlic buttery mushrooms, peppercorn sauce, little picante? Peppers...beautiful! The meat speaks for itself - absolutely perfect 👌 Only downside was it was my partners birthday which I had noted on our booking. So, when we ordered dessert I had hoped they'd pop a candle on top or say happy birthday but they didn't. Other than that it was a fantastic experience and we will be back again!

We have dined at Delia's on many occasions and always find the food, the service is excellent . Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting fine dining

A warm friendly welcome. We had a great table in the window. We chose from the lunch menu and started with mussels in a wine sauce, absolutely delicious and then homemade fish cake with pea purée, again delicious and well presented. I don’t usually have a pudding but I’m glad I did! Chocolate mousse and passion fruit sorbet, they complimented each other. We were offered canapés which were yummy and had homemade bread with the meal. Good wine selection and fabulous service. What a treat in Norwich and a pretty part of the city. Will definitely be back very soon
