August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows.     Loved this restaurant.. the food was amazing.. we ordered the grilled wagyu, massaman curry, tuna cups and lobster betel leaf , all delicious! Couldn't fault, great cocktails too.. it was a busy night but the service was good and the food came out quickly. Definitely recommend. It's also beautiful inside !

    This was our third visit to Sasso & thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Was quite busy for a Monday night but we were served in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble. We have the Arancini balls - lovely & CRISP!! Followed by Rigatoni Amatriciana & Spaghetti Allo Scoglio followed by Tiramisu to share. Wines also lovely. We went for the Italian prossecco followed by a lovely Chianti. Will be back 🫶
