Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. The ambiance is romantic. The perfect place for date night or anniversary dinner. We ordered the Shrimp Scampi which is always delicious. My husband ordered the Clams and Mussels antipasti, he loved it. For our entrees we ordered the Lamb Osso Bucco, delicious as well, but we absolutely loved the Pollo Incendio. So much that we shared it and cleared the plate. Highly recommend!

Everything was delicious and well paired, for example the gravy really enhanced the fried chicken rather than overpowering it or making it soggy. Mac and cheese was just the right richness and texture. Cocktail was very tasty. Presentation of everything was thoughtful. Generous portions. I was super impressed with the quality, especially for a casual come-as-you-are restaurant. Would definitely come back if we lived in Portland!

We had a great time, chicken and waffles and the egg Benedict dishes were good. The staff are fantastic! Also, can’t go wrong with bottomless mimosas.

We have been going to Wildfin since they opened. This occasion was my 93rd birthday observance. The food was better than ever! It continues to be my favorite restaurant in this area.
