Welcome to your friend neighborhood bar and sandwich shop. Tucked away on Lafayette Park, just a block from the downtown and seaport neighborhoods of Salem, MA, The Babe is the perfect place to rendezvous after work for a cocktail, grab a bite with friends, or get together for a late night celebration. We take pride in our scratch kitchen with a menu inspired by Northeast sandwich culture and cuisine; touching on fan favorites from Philly to NY, and of course, Boston! Mile Marker One waterfront restaurant offers four season indoor dining and igloo dining on the marina with stunning views of fishing boats, some you'll recognize from television.     The Sunday brunch is amazing. The food was so delicious got a made to order omelette that was heaven..the coffee was fantastic. Service was great even while they were very busy.

    The restaurant was great. The food was outstanding: an order of popovers to start, a roasted duck breast for me, a baked salmon for my wife left us so full we couldn’t get to dessert. The parking was a challenge and it was pretty noisy but our server, Martina, was attentive and friendly so we were very happy with the whole experience and will definitely be back

    Our Bartender was excellent! The food was amazing! We got the steak and eggs and the breakfast wrap! Absolutely amazing!! Can’t wait to go back! But the star was the lemon ricotta donuts served warm with homemade jam!!!
