Varanese settled in Louisville because of its successful independent dining scene, and he believes that the people of Louisville will appreciate fresh ingredients, prepared with a creative flair and a culturally diverse menu. Varanese’s eclectic menu boasts an array of options from stuffed grape leaves, and fried green tomato salad, to new signature entrées: the seared boneless pork chop, and caramelized orange salmon. This New American style restaurant will comfortably seat 150 guests between its bar, dining room and four seasons patio. The four seasons patio of Varanese is an addition to the building, which has a dramatic 20-foot slate water wall. What a menu! Make sure to start with the amuse bouche, the mini arancini was perfect. The mushrooms appetizer is unlike any I've had; warm, cold, crispy, umami, tangy, creamy. The trout was warm and briney but offset by a beautiful char on the skin. Fantastic dining experience, exceptional vibes. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in Lousiville.

Outstanding food, beer, service, and atmosphere! We came on a Friday night with a 2 year old and a 3 month old. It was the best night out we have had as a family in a long time. There was a variety of people there all to enjoy delicious food and drink. Our experience with all employees was top notch. We cannot wait to return!
