Active and bustling, in the "Trattoria Style", this Woodbury location of Butera's offers quality food at a great value. Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know. It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos.     A bunch of coworkers got together for drinks and appetizers by the bar. All was good. Dinner menus and specials were offered but our waiter didn't push. He allowed us to enjoy ourselves and checked on us without being overbearing. The bar was really popular for a Tuesday evening and the tables were filling up at 7 pm when our group left. Great night! We'll be back as it is very convenient to our workplace.

    This was our first visit, and we were very happy with the service, food and selections. While I had the all meat selection, my wife ordered a filet mignon which was a large portion, perfectly cooked. Excellent salad bar & tasty deserts. Will return.

    We enjoyed the Thai calamari as an appetizer. It was a large portion and 2 of us couldn’t finish it. Their bread and garlic knots were delicious. One of their recommended dishes is chicken scarpariello which uses chicken meatballs instead of pieces of chicken. It was very different but delicious also and a large portion. The pistachio crusted salmon was also very good. One of the owners will check in on you to make sure everything is satisfactory which is a nice touch.
