Roe is a modern and spacious restaurant in the heart of Wood Wharf from the trio behind the critically-acclaimed sister restaurant Fallow St James’s and FOWL.The extensive a la carte menu is divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. Had the valentines menu. Good price but what they call sharing sides are actually regular sides between 2 so we had to order more. The dessert that came with it was essentially a plate of whipped cream with some pastry and a sprinkle of fruit - terrible. They also put the tables way too close together so you get to hear the full conversation of your dinner neighbours. Other than that, the steak is tasty, our waiter very attentive and it was a nice time.

We had a great time on Valentine's Day. The ambience, food, service everything was great - we Sat outdoors. Also Peter was a great host, will defo go back again.

The food is so good. The Hispi cabbage is delicious, as is the blooming onion. I will be back again for dinner next time as I want the cuttlefish toasts again! They are something else. As is the onion!
