Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Ottima atmosfera, bar stupendo, location fantastica con Saint Paul in vista con tutto il suo splendore...per il cibo mi sare aspettato di più, tempura pesanti e lista dei dolci poco asiatica, in ogni caso tutto molto bene. Grazie

Piccolo ma affollatissimo e rumorosissimo bistrot a Shoreditch, quartiere giovane e movimentato molto di moda. Atmosfera intima con tavoli vicinissimi. Menù corto con poche scelte, ma piatti gustosi e ben preparati. Buona scelta dei vini. Servizio veloce con dei giovani ragazzi molto gentili. Conto elevato più per il vino che per i piatti.
