Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf, underneath the train tracks of the North Dock. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca.     We had a booth which worked well for my older parents and gave them a bit more comfort. The staff were all very nice, helpful and attentive. Lamb, squid, oysters and sea bass were all very tasty and the drinks flowed well too with Asahi and Peroni on draft for me. Slightly pricier than my last couple of trips to Hornchurch and similar unnamed restaurants but we were glad we tried Onyx for the first time and we will definitely consider returning.

    Started working here recently and Passed this pub often and wanted to try it , as looks nice. Wasnt disappointed. Even nicer on the inside. Booked lunch for valentines day. Good choice. Warm and cosy feel. Very welcoming environment and staff , lovely and friendly. Nothing to much trouble for them and with smiles . Looking forward to visiting again and enjoying a drink in the warm sunshine in there lovely looking beer garden. Thanks for a nice lunch . 5* plus
