Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We had a great time on Valentine's Day. The ambience, food, service everything was great - we Sat outdoors. Also Peter was a great host, will defo go back again.

My first time dining here and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone was welcoming, courses were served timely and hot. The food was amazing! I didnt like the golden soft shell crab but that was just me trying something new. Im sure its fine for those that like that sort of thing. Would definitely return!

A relaxed & welcoming restaurant- helpful & cheerful staff, ready when needed, but not at all intrusive. I had the best bbq steak rib ever 👌& my sisters Sirloin was perfect also, and if we are ever back in Stratford, this is where we'll eat. Thank you all at HS&Co, a dream team & perfect food & ambience.
