Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. The food was very good Indian style cooking. It’s the first time We have eaten snails, outside of at a French restaurant. They were delicious !.

Great food, really charming service. Very quiet on an early Spring sunny Saturday lunchtime which was a shame as a bit more ambience would have rounded off an otherwise lovely meal. I can’t help feeling the lovely room and decor is even better for an evening meal. Thank you for a lovely meal.
