Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     Great ambience, fabulous food and although it was a really busy service, we didn't feel rushed or neglected at any stage. Catered for the wide range of needs in our group with food that, while beautifully presented, was very much focussed on great taste. We all left feeling well fed and enjoyed the drinks menu too. Will definitely be going back.

    Fantastic choice of food, good service. Restaurant buy and busier than the hotel expected so they didn’t really have enough staff, hence a longer wait for the table. Good location

    Kiesha and her team were wonderful on Christmas Day… the meal was perfect for us and served at a table by the open fire in a relaxed atmosphere. It was so nice that they limited the tables and allowed us to fully enjoy our meal… it made it all the more enjoyable so top marks to the management. We will be visiting every time we come to Manchester so thank you

    First time there and service is friendly and welcoming, food feels very homely and is lovely. Pricing is more than fair and makes for a perfect date night! Would definitely recommend
