It has many historical stone buildings and is centred around the ancient manor, Turvey House. We serve food freshly prepared from high quality ingredients with a focus on local sourcing. We always provide at least three vegan options and source fresh fish on a daily basis, based on the catches of the day and use these to create daily fish specials. We are a free house and always serve a selection of real ales.

    2nd time eating here. Went back because it was so good the first time, and it did not disappoint! I am coeliac and the gluten free choice selection is outstanding. You must order the calamari!!!

    Lovely candlelit dining room with rustic charm and great food. Not pretentious they just doing everything really well for people that like good food and drink. The evening farmers menu was really good. It’s not often you come away from a restaurant these days where you cannot fault a thing. Just about to rebook for Sunday lunch :) Absolutely spot on.

    Superb meal - we had the kebab platter! enormous! delicious and full of flavour - but a great share dish. Our friends had the roast - delicious, piping hot food beautiful presentation and full of flavour. Great restaurant - and loads of ambiance - but you make your own! Super service - popping back soon

    I've reviewed Ember several times. I have dined there over 20 times since they opened. I love it. The food is innovative, interesting and always delicious. The decor, ambiance, customer service - all second to none. The small plates dining experience enables us to share and sample all kinds of different dishes. Seeing the chefs cook over open fire ....Highly recommended.
