The Grape Variety is a neighbourhood, independent wine bar, shop and restaurant, selling great wines and food from around the world, located just 2 minutes from Chipstead Railway Station.We opened in the spring of 2018 with the aim that a wine bar should cater not just to experts, but to all, so we created one where our guests could unwind at the end of the day with a great wine in a warm, friendly and genuine environment, whilst getting sound advice about which wines to enjoy, as well as to take away.For food, we offer quality artisan cheese and charcuterie, alongside dishes such as baked Camembert, bakery sausage rolls, hot chorizo and potato, hummus with a spicy sauce, Spanish pâté and the like. The food was really good and filling, we took a doggie bag as we couldn’t finish. Our waiter was a young man who was just lovely, couldn’t have done enough and made us feel special and valued. I hope he gets recognised. Will go back!

Delicious meal - highly recommend the moussaka or the beef stifado. Very lovely staff and just overall a lovely welcoming feel to the place

Bills has a great atmosphere with great customer service & always guaranteed good food. We had the set menu which was great value. Recommend.

Quick service. Polite staff. My grandaughter didn't want afternoon tea . They made her Nutella sandwiches & chips 🍟. Very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
