Excellent friendly service and fantastic burgers, highly recommended

We had the 3 course set menu with pairing wine. Everything was delicious. My husband and I chose different main courses. We especially enjoyed the quail starter and the cheese option in the desserts, which was almost like a cheese pudding. The service was good and the sommelier gave us a very detailed explanation of the chosen wines.

Fantastic service and much improved room ambiance with the addition of a stunning Christmas tree in the centre of the room and tablecloths on all the tables this year Excellent service and food , only very slight niggle was the trestle style circular new tables are awkward for 2 of the 4 people sitting at them as the support legs are in the way so you have to sit either wonky or straddling the supports. Great treat as always

This is the second time I’ve been to 1867 this time it was my sister‘s birthday. She had a balloon on her table. Lunch was amazing. Service was impeccable and on leaving, she was handed a bottle of Prosecco and a card from the team. It made her feel very special and I will be going back again very soon, thank you ladies.

Lovely setting, beautiful savouries and scones. For the price there were far too many sweet treats- these were lovely but became simply inedible due to the sheer size and amount. The amount of pistachio crème on the mince pie was somewhat sickly and I think substance over style would be more appreciated. Our waiters were lovely though, and nothing was too much. Also- it would be nice to have proper boxes to take sweet treats home in as again, it was simply impossible to eat that much sugar in one sitting.
