The décor reflects the traditional country inns history but with a modern twist. Had wonderful meal to celebrate my wife's birthday. All the food between 3 of us was cooked beautifully and tasted great. The service was welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Lucky to get same day booking for four for Sunday Lunch. Service was fabulous, staff extremely attentive and friendly. Sunday lunch was very good, all opted for beef which was plentiful and beautifully tender. Vegetables all freshly prepared, and well cooked. Huge Yorkshire pudding and extra gravy served on request Deserts absolutely huge and all gorgeous . Could not fault it at all. Very good value for two courses. Will definitely return.

We were given a lunch voucher for a present and we really enjoyed our visit. All three courses that we chose were delicious and the meal came with 2 glasses of fizzy. The restaurant has an interesting history and had a pleasant atmosphere.

Had a beautiful meal and the staff were friendly. We really appreciate how well they cater for dietary requirements, which is why we will keep going back.
