Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. Have been wanting to try this place for ages and it did not disappoint. We had the Valentine’s Day set menu and it was all delicious, the service was amazing and the wine/fizz was divine. It’s such a lovely independent spot and I’d highly recommend visiting!

BBQ tray was absolutely delicious and some of the best bbq I have had outside of the USA. The beef rib was really tasty but a little tough. Staff were super friendly and thought the value was really good for how much we got!
