Charlie's has been consistently good since we started going there some years ago. We went there for our anniversary dinner last night and had a lovely evening. The staff and management were very helpful and the only reason I am not going with 5 stars all the way, is because the desert menu was like all desert menus these days: nothing hot except bread and butter pudding, maybe the creme brûlée. It's so hard these days to find a restaurant that actually makes deserts like Grand Marnier Soufflé's with a creme Anglaise, or crepes suzette or anything that involves any preparation at all and is not served with whipped cream out of a can. Besides that, my wife had very nice Swordfish and I had the breast of duck and we enjoyed them with an unusual Chenin Blanc called Love from the Loire coastal region. The orange mousse in a chocolate cup was as expected and we could have given it a miss.

One of my favorite restaurants on the island….. love their fish…… and the wine selection is incredible….. I have never been disappointed there.

We thoroughly enjoy going to Ela's. The building is beautiful with nautical art throughout and gorgeous views of Shelter Cove. It has several dining areas both inside and out, so it has an intimate atmosphere despite lots of diners. The service is always excellent. The wine list is also a pleasure, but we always get Molly Dooker The Boxer Shiraz, which the waiter always prepares just right. The food is awesome with daily seafood specials. They are very good about special diets.

We had a great meal with a party of 9. It was a slow roll getting started (having our order taken) but the kitchen was fast and the food was delicious.

We always look forward to our return visits to Lucky Rooster and being taken care of by OZ. The early dining menu was a pleasant surprise and did not disappoint. Our group enjoyed the octopus appetizer, pear and arugula salad and Caesar salad. Some had the short rib (always a favorite) and the trout.
