If you're looking for a seafood restaurant in St. Augustine, this unique fly-fishing themed restaurant offers daily fresh fish specials using locally caught fish that you don't usually see on most restaurant menus. The kitchen at BlackFly is a "Scratch Kitchen"; everything is fresh, as local as possible, seasonal and made to order. The menu at BlackFly includes Chop House selections as well as an extensive wine selection. Mike and Cindy, partners in BlackFly and owners of the Famous Collage Restaurant in downtown St. Augustine are the operational managers. The Reef, originally called Comptons, was built by the Usina family on a beautiful piece of oceanfront property, owned by the family for generations, located on tranquil North Beach, three miles north of the Usina Bridge. Comptons opened in 1989 and enjoyed great success for the next ten years. It closed in 1999 due to the ill health of Mr. Compton and hurricane damage. There are few remaining true Oceanfront restaurants in Northeast Florida, and of those, The Reef, commands the most spectacular views. Sit at any table inside and the view is dynamic to say the least, or enjoy the recently rebuilt and expanded deck where you not only look out at The Ocean, you listen to it too as the waves break and the birds cry. To complement this vista Chef Denzel Aponte' has created a menu primarily of fish and seafood balanced with beef, poultry pasta and creative specials, always fresh and sourced locally whenever possible.

    Great food. Kate was fabulous! Bread with roasted garlic was amazing. Had the shrimp and scallops and they were fabulous. Husband had lobster ravioli and was very impressed. Rum cake was really rummie but the coconut ice cream was a fantastic addition. Definitely recommend

    The place is very welcoming, has a lot of charm. Great service, great food and great ambiance. We had the Octopus and it was as tender as it can be. As well as the Osso Bucco and it was amazing. What do the use on the sauce I don’t know. But it was really good.

    Fine dining has grown exponentially in St Augustine and this fabulous location in the Casa Monica has had a few hits and misses. Cordova is a hit! We’ve dine here a few times but tonight was exceptional. Our server, Martin, is wonderful, he knows the menu and was spot on with every suggestion. Lobster roll appetizer and She crab bisque are phenomenal. The steaks, filet tonight, melts in your mouth. The signature pork chop was amazing. Finished with cinnamon bread pudding. What a treat! Oh, and the convenience of valet parking. Highly recommend!!
