It all started in 1992, when Annette and Gerner Andresen opened the Lighthouse Café in Sausalito in its present form. The Andresens, both born in Denmark, had recently immigrated to the U.S., and along with them they brought the Scandinavian flair for simplicity, good quality and tasty food. The music selection playing in the background was awesome, I could’ve stayed there all day. Excellent service, awesome food, chilled vibe. Bungalow Kitchen is now on my list of favorite restaurants…next time I’d like to sit outside.

A great place to have lunch. A hidden gem overlooking the water. Sat at a hightop table. Our waiter was good. The burger was excellent and so was the chicken cilantro salad.

Came in with a hankering for a burger. Got the Fancy Pants and added bacon and a fried egg. Was delicious and killed the craving. I will say it was a bit pricey but was delicious nonetheless.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend brunch with friends visiting from our of town. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the location offered a great opportunity to enjoy some beautiful views of the Golden Gate.
