Our menu changes frequently and focuses on seasonal ingredients. We prepare everything on our menu from scratch, from the buttermilk biscuits at brunch to the hand cut fries on our daily grind burger. We offer dinner five nights a week, lunch Wed-Fri and Brunch on Sat and Sun mornings.Our dining room is a mix of brick and reclaimed wood (we even have wood from a barn the owner's great-grandfather built on the family farm in 1902). Reservation was made through Open Table but upon arrival at restaurant, there was no record of the reservation in their system. They were great about honoring the reservation and made appropriate accommodations for our group!

We heard Hogs head had the best hamburger in KC so we tried it. All four of our party got the bacon cheese burgers and fries 2 got them with eggs and they were more than accommodating to leave the egg off the others. They were super friendly went out of their way to make sure we were happy with what we ordered. Suggest drinks. It was a great relaxed atmosphere!

On this our third visit, once again we had a delightful evening. With a large group of nine, we had impeccable service, perfect timing, and delicious meals for the entire table. This is such a lovely place to have a quiet meal, with resources from local farmers and vendors. It's a gem indeed!
