General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream.     Elescia took such great care of us. I came for a birthday brunch and she made sure she we had a great time the whole duration of our stay. So kind so wonderful. Food was amazing and the mimosa tower was iconic

    Fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The outside is understated, but you are transported to a quite beautiful space as you walk through the door. The menu is very eclectic, with lots of great and varied options. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overly intrusive. The food arrived promptly, looked great and was delicious. For a place that's only been open 2 months, they are doing great, and will only improve as they get into their rhythm. Will definitely be returning.

    Went in for a birthday ended up staying until late night. Karaoke was a blast. Had such a great time. Prices are very reasonable and food was great. I ended up eating the chicken Alfredo and it was amazing.
