   Tried repeatedly to contact on phone to cancel a reservation but no reply - repeated message saying all operatives busty but will answer. Never did even after a 15 minute hold. Restaurant also shown as "offline". Has it closed?

   Lovely meal with excellent service. All our dishes were extremely well prepared and delicious. Good choice of wines by the glass and great value for the quality

   First visit. Early evening for two middle aged! Superb in all respects even though we had a Time out Voucher. Will definitely come again as only 20 minutes walk from RSM!

   Although the set menu featured prominently on the website we had to request it and staff were reluctant to bring it. Bottles of red start at £19.50 according to the website and reviews I had seen but on the evening started at £34. Higher prices wouldn't have been a problem if the portions hadn't been comically tiny. It looks like the good food at good prices which got this restaurant such good early reviews has proved unsustainable. Some of the food was very nice, including the lamb pastilla and pig's head croquette. My fish main was lacking in depth though and I found myself casting around for a good grind of pepper. One of the pieces of fish was cooked beautifully, crisp skin and melting flesh, but the other was nearly raw. We went on a Friday night and the place was less than half full. By 9pm staff were cleaning up around us so conspicuously I felt rushed to finish my wine and leave. All round a slightly disappointing choice for a special occasion.

   excellent pre theatre meal with a really good set menu choice. Highly recommend the pork belly. The restaurant was not busy as was the 5.30pm session so did not have the buzz of a packed restaurant at that time, but the staff were all very welcoming and friendly and helpful without being over the top. Went for the cheapest of the red wines at £24 but it was excellent. Great way to start the night (although we did have a couple of cheeky cocktails before we went to Piquet.... And the Motown show after at shaftebury theatre was only 5 min walk away down oxford street which worked out great).

   Piquet is very conveniently located for West shoppers and theatre goers. It has a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and a good varied menu of delicious food.

    Really nice food and wine. Great service. However was a little empty considering how good it was. Would definitely recommend!
