We had an excellent overall dining experience at the Plumsteadville Inn. The service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be going back there again.

The Plumsteadville Inn has been on our list for a while, and we finally made it for Valentine’s Day dinner. When booking through the OpenTable app, I noticed an interesting option—you get to choose between casual dining or fine dining. I selected casual since I wasn’t looking to dress up in a suit and tie. Upon arrival, it became clear that the choice boiled down to whether you preferred white linen tablecloths or a more natural, rustic setting. We were seated in a cozy area with a fireplace along one wall and live music adding to the ambiance. The setting was warm and inviting, making for an enjoyable atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. The menu offered a great selection, and we started with the **Boom Boom Shrimp** appetizer. The shrimp were tasty, though I felt they could have used a bit more sauce to enhance the flavor. For entrées, my girlfriend ordered the **Lobster Francese**, which she really enjoyed. The lobster was tender and not overcooked, and the linguine was well-prepared. The sauce had a stronger lemon flavor than I personally prefer, but it was still good. However, the spinach was barely noticeable—I typically expect a more generous portion in a dish like this. I went with the **Prime Rib**, and it was excellent. The portion size was impressive, and the meat was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth. While the accompanying horseradish and Au Jus were nice touches, the prime rib was flavorful enough to stand on its own. One thing that surprised me was the lack of a bread basket or a salad with the entrée, which many restaurants of this caliber typically offer. Overall, our experience was positive. The atmosphere, service, and food quality were all solid, and we would certainly return.

We really enjoy this place. It has a very nice atmosphere cozy and fun. The food is consistently good and the service is perfect. This is our go to place when meeting friends or for special occasions.

We went there for Valentines Day and it was great. My three criteria for a good restaurant are, good food, good value, and good service. The Plumsteadville Inn had all three. We had the Chilean Seabass and it was outstanding. The servers was incredibly attentive and personable and even the manager came by to check on us. Though it was a hike to get there, "over the river and through the woods", we will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this establishment.
