    We have celebrated numerous special events there and had great food and service today not so much. Service was extremely slow. They were very short on help. I think most people make reservations so they should be able judge how much help they would need any given day. It took 30 minutes for drinks and food was very slow coming out of kitchen. We end up having to pay $8.00 for parking because we were over the limit. It took for ever to pay our bill. One person in our party has reservations for Sunday night and is rethinking.

    Went for a birthday today & service was mediocre. Our server was running all over the place without acknowledging us & left us tweetling with our thumbs most of the evening. Eventually as food came & we are in the middle of eating she puts a pitcher of water to refil out glasses right in my face as I'm about to take a bite. The busser catered to us better than she did.

    Blair went above and beyond to ensure my mom had a wonderful Birthday and time!! She was an amazing server and we all loved her!! Blair has the sweetest personality and we will be asking for every time we come to Portland City Grill!!!

    We decided to take our two employees and their wives to Portland city grill for a memorable night. Overall the experience was average compared to other higher end restaurants in Portland. I just feel at that price point everything should be on point. Service wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great, the guys and I ordered three eye of the rib wagyu steaks, two medium and one medium rare and they came two medium rare and one so rare it was not even warm to the touch. I’ve had quite a few high end steaks and these were not exactly what I had in mind when I ordered. We ordered sides with our steaks and we had to wait on the sides. All in all I think they are just to busy for the staffing they have and or they need more help in the kitchen to have all the food ready to serve as it should be. Portland city grill has been on my list of restaurants to try but unfortunately I may have just set the bar too high for them. If your looking for a great atmosphere to enjoy good food and experience the 30 stories up above the city than sure go here. I just think they didn’t live up to the hype. If you’re looking for a unique experience with amazing food and service, go to ringside steakhouse.

    Our water Travis was fantastic and the food was excellent. We had a great birthday celebration.

    Lorelei served us in an excellent manner as our waitstaff! She anticipated our dining needs perfectly. Our meals were tasty & our panoramic view of Portland was beyond captivating!
