Portland opened in 2015 and received a Michelin star the same year - which we have retained to this day. We try to offer the best contemporary example of fine dining in London – the finest produce we can find cooked with precision and a high level of technique led by our executive chef Stuart Andrew and head chef Chris Bassett and his team.

We offer a la carte and also a Tasting Menu at lunch and dinner.

Wine is as important as food and service at Portland. Our main wine list aims to offer brilliant value on interesting, different wines which we hope you seldom see on restaurant wine lists. Our Single Bottle List contains bins of some of the world’s finest wines and also more accessible offerings from our favourite producers.

Apart from the main restaurant, we hope that our private room and its offer of secluded and separate dining is just the thing for special family events or business meetings.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of our restaurant we are offering a special tasting menu at £55. Leaning on classic dishes from our first decade and centred around our iconic Beef Wellington, this offers a chance to experience Portland’s menu at a very special price. THE MENU WELCOME SNACKS Macaron of mushroom and Parmesan Crispy chicken skin, liver parfait, candied walnuts, Muscat grapes FIRST COURSE Heritage carrots with a Tunworth cheese sauce, salsify and brioche MAIN COURSE Highland beef wellington, caramelised onion puree and Bordelaise sauce SERVED WITH Winter leaves, buttermilk, green sauce and lemon Pink fir potatoes and warm tartare sauce DESSERT Apple tarte tatin, rum and raisin

Menù degustazione molto buono! I piatti si vede che c’era una ricerca estremamente particolare! Accoglienza veramente cordiale ! Personale gentilissimo e complimenti a tutto lo Staff!

Exceptional food - particularly the monkfish and cheesecake. Outstanding service from Kyria and the team. We felt that the whole experience was really special, would come back in a heartbeat

Once again, absolutely *_outstanding food_*, wonderfully professional, friendly but never over-attentive service, the quiet hum of conversation, excellent wine list: nothing to fault! As if that's not enough, we'd mentioned when booking that it was our wedding anniversary and they had a Happy Anniversary card for us, signed by all the staff: we were very touched by this, definitely above and beyond the usual restaurant welcome!!! It added a special touch to the evening - thank you so much! WE look forward very much to our next visit...

Fantastic restaurant. Food was exceptional and staff we super. My only criticism is that the wines were very over priced. For example, we love segla but have never seen it near this price in any restaurant.

As a food blogger, I don't recommend it because the experience is not good. The crust of the steak Wellington is too soft, as if it has been left out for a long time. It is said to be four courses, but the first one is too funny. It is just some snacks and desserts that are usually given away. I spent the money for two, but only got one? Others get one each. It was said that they could give a small dessert on special days, but there was nothing. At the end, there was no charity donation? I will not come again next time

Everything was perfect! Must go and eat! Hope the course similar to 10 anniversary will be served regularly.

My partner and I went for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The staff were warm and attentive, the food was beautifully prepared, and the drinks were spot on. The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed, making for a perfect night. Highly recommend.
