                                                  The food and view were amazing, but the it was the service which was truly superb, kind, knowledgeable staff without the pomposity of other restaurants. Had an amazing time!

                                                  We had a great experience for our New Years Eve dinner. Our server was great, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was great. We sat outside, which was fine, except for the noise from the highway (which is unavoidable due to location). Overall great experience!

                                                  I made our reservation with Open Table on Monday for New Years Eve. The restaurant required a credit card for guarantee which I provided. The reservation was confirmed via email. On Tuesday my wife was looking at the Primavista menu on their web site and noticed that the New Years Eve menu was fixed menu with 2 starter choices, 3 entree choices and 3 dessert choices for $95.00 per person. What a surprise!!! Exactly what we didn't want!!!! Nothing was said of this on the Ooen Table site when we made the reservation. I checked my confirmation email again and discovered way down at the bottom of the email in small print the fixed menu was disclosed. Obviously I hadn't read through the lengthy confirmation. Also imbedded in the small print was that any cancellations within 48 hours would be charged $20.00 per person! We were within 48 hours when we made the reservation. And this was never indicated. So we went to the restaurant (no choice at this point)! The valet staff was friendly and efficient. We got our table after a 15 minute wait Good view by the window but a small 2' x 3' table stuck between two large party tables! Not optimal but we remained patient. Our server Elle was both personable and competent. Did a great job the whole evening. We placed our order with Elle. I had what turned out to be a very small Arugala salad. Tasty but small. My wife ordered the Gnocci--which tasted if flour. She only ate a couple of bites and left the rest. Elle brought some bread which was good. I order the Red Snapper for my entree. It was well presented but way over cooked! My wife ordered the Beef Tenderloin to be cooked rare. It came--not rare but very well done. We told the food deliverer (not Elle) that she had ordered it rare. He took it back and returned a couple minutes later with Tenderloin the was medium well at best. Said that was the best he could do this late at night (8:15 or so). We ordered the Tiramisu which was very good and the food highlight.

                                                  Another New Years Eve at our favorite restaurant! We have spent over 15 New Years Eve at Primavista. The service was excellent as always, food exceptional, staff pleasant. A meal at Primavista is always a treat!
