                                                                                                                      This was the worst dinner experience we have had at Prime. The server was so bad and was replaced 1/2 way through the meal then showed up at the end to give us our bill. We were charged $40 for plain spaghetti! A child’s portion- they did reduce the cost after we asked. The table was full of dirty dishes through dinner- no bus service. It was slow and bad all around. We will not return. Embarrassing for what used to be one of the better Carmel steak houses.

                                                                                                                      Everything I expect from a fine dining steak house. Service, culinary and atmosphere all exceeded expectations. When dining at a steak house, the sides are equally or just as important as the main entree. We ordered the basics: filets, truffle mashed potatoes and corn. Most steaks I end up saying “it’s good”, but this filet made me actually say omg that is really good (which is rare for me to say). Cheers to the chef. Sides were devoured fully. Of course dessert stomach exist so we had the table side made bananas fosters……. Gone, need I say more? But what sets this apart from most fine dining, is the service, probably the top reason if not the only reason, I would return to a restaurant. Our server was attentive, friendly and on top of his game. The entire staff seems to work as team and that goes a long way in a successful dining experience. Would recommend and will return.

We always enjoy the live music while also being able to catch the big games while dining in the bar area. The combination of great food, great service, and cool atmosphere is what keeps us coming back.
