We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list.

The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways. Primo also has a long-standing relationship with Lake Meadows Naturals in Ocoee, FL for chicken and ducks.

                                                      Not worth the price. This is NOT an upscale Italian Restaurant. Bread arrived cold, we ordered chicken pasta, it arrived cold and guess what, NO Chicken. We also ordered a Margherita Pizza, which was also cold, with no flavor. I've had a frozen Margherita Pizza from Publix grocery store that had more flavor. Upon making our concerns aware, they brought us a bowl of chicken but by that time the pasta was cold. They never brought a new warm bowl. The chicken is nothing more than the grocery store Perdue Grilled Chicken in a bag. What a complete shock, no wonder the pasta bowl had zero flavor. Extreme disappointment all the way around. We never heard the words, "How can we make it right" or "We are sorry" or "What would you like us to do" etc, etc... Not that we are looking for a handout, but just the acceptance of their mistakes and assure that it won't happen again. No manage addressed our concerns. No manage even thanked us for still paying full price for a meal we didn't eat. Also, since when do restaurants charge you for bread?!?! Well Primo should did... Primo has lost a customer for life.

                                                      Phenomenal Italian food. Probably the best meat balls and Red Italian sauce I have ever had. The Lobster pasta dish was extremely good. Service is extremely good.

                                                      I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere, ever. But this place was really terrible to my husband and son on Christmas for dinner. I was ill and had to stay in the hotel room. My husband who never complains about anything was real upset about the experience. Bad service, bad food and he was put in a side room with kids with blaring iPads and another couple with a dog. My son is 16 and very well mannered. They were both taken aback. We booked this restaurant for Christmas dinner based on the recommendation from the hotel and it was very disappointing.
