We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list.

The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways. Primo also has a long-standing relationship with Lake Meadows Naturals in Ocoee, FL for chicken and ducks.

We had an amazing dining experience at Primo at JW Grande Lakes in Orlando! From the moment we were seated, our server, Juan C, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced our meal. The food was simply outstanding — each dish was not only bursting with flavor but also beautifully presented. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully sourced, which elevated the overall dining experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a top-notch meal, Primo is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Very exotic Good service Very expensive We got bread that said $4 for an assortment and when we got the bill it was $16. FOR BREAD $4 a person. This should be free. They don’t answer phone and the menu at the hotel is not updated with the current food offerings.

We had dinner outside by the fire pit and it was beautiful. The server was excellent and our food very good! Everything from the appetizers to dessert was delicious. I would not expect to be charged $20 for bread but otherwise we had a great experience.

We have dined in Primo several times over the years which is why we booked it for a family event during a recent visit to Orlando. We had no idea it had been renovated and were extremely disappointed in the new look and the acoustics. It was nearly impossible to have a conversation or hear the waiter. The food was not as good as we remember, with cold soup and cold pizza and ambiance with bright lights brought the whole experience down. The bar area was very uninviting as well. It was not relaxing and seemed more like a cafeteria. Not sure why money was wasted on this renovation? We won't be back.

The food is creative and very, very good. The service is excellent. But the switch from intimate, somewhat elegant to an industrial vibe with poor acoustics is a step down. Go for the food and service, not the decor

Our starter of Harvest corn soup was delicious; the creamed soup was topped with corn relish and a few kernels of popcorn, which added a very different twist to the overall taste. We had scallops with pork belly and zaatar coated cobia, both of which were cooked to perfection. Dessert consisted of chocolate mousse, which was a “dry” version of mousse and a glass of house made limoncello, which unfortunately tasted more like lemon flavored water. We could have done without the mousse or the limoncello. The noise level was high in large part due to a family with children having dinner. The service was excellent! We would definitely return.

Disappointing. Service was very good overall, though no cheese or fresh pepper was offered. Food was average at best. Sent back one dish that was too spicy to eat. Received a substitute with overcooked pasta and bland sauce. The pizza was not good either, the crust was tough. Didn't like the consistency of having bread crumbs in/on the kale salad. Didn't realize the bread service was $4 per person so $16 for a basket of bread! Expensive pricing for what you get. Noticed a heavy grease smell upon walking in and our clothes smelled like it after leaving. It's a shame it's not a better option since we frequently stay at the JW.

The restaurant it’s inside of the Marriot hotel it looks nice but not elegant. The service it was great Giovanni gave us suggestions and he was very attentive. The food was very disappointed I got crab balls but it had more rice than crab. The pork dish another disappointment mashed potato’s with a pork filet on top , serious? A better presentation for the price would be better. This restaurant was a recommendation but it was disappointing visit.
