The Private Dining Room is in a space inspired by one of the oldest temples in Tokyo, the Senso-ji Temple in the Asakusa district of Tokyo. A giant lantern decorated with a koi pattern is suspended above, illuminating not only the kumiko-clad walls but also guests eager to share the experience. Kumiki, a traditional woodworking technique wherein wood panels are fit together into geometric or floral patterns without the use of nails, is used throughout.
