The food is delicious, but in 3 visits in the last 2 months I have yet to receive a hot meal. 2 NY strip meals and today the baked scroll were all served lukewarm or cold. The service is good, although, today the server seemed uneasy. Overall I like this tavern for lunch, but a hot meal would make it much better.

We have not been to the Publik House in ten years… it was wonderful then and it was wonderful now.. there in nothing like good old fashioned New England cooking!! Loved it!!

The service was excellent. The bread before the meal was unexpected and delicious. There was one vegetarian option and 2 vegan options which I really appreciated. I ordered the tofu dinner which could have been seasoned more but was fine. The brussel sprouts and french fries were great. I recommend the Publick House as it was a very nice experience.

We have been going to Publick House for many years, and the food is always great, and service is excellent! We had Emma tonight and she is very good. Highly recommend to everyone to try the Publick House!
