I absolutely love the publick house for dining. The servers are excellent, the atmosphere it's super relax and can't beat the food. Overall, a win, win situation.

My wife and I had the turkey diner and baked scrod. Both were delicious, and ample portions. Also loved the historical charm of the place. We look forward to coming again!

Very disappointing. Salad was so drowned in dressing I couln'd find the greens. Scallop main course was OK, scallops cooked well, but green beans and rice sides were barely luke warm and unseasoned. No salt on the table. Service was nearly nonexistant, even though there were more staff people than customers. An expensive disappointment.

It was a busy night at the Publick House… two weddings going on at the same time as Saturday night dinner in the Taproom. Our server was very overwhelmed, but the kitchen was surprisingly fast nevertheless.

Our server, Myron, was one of the best we've ever had. He really made our luncheon extra special. He took our 4 orders perfectly, and made additional recommendations which we appreciated. We love the bonus of 10% off in the Bakery if you show your dining receipt the same day.

Very large number of selections on lunch menu. Food was very good, as was the service. The ambience was excellent, and the wingback chairs very comfortable.

Our table had the fish and chips dinner and a special of the day chicken primavera. Wish the vegetables in the primavera dish were more prominent and the sauce less Alfredo like. It tasted fine but just a little heavy for what I'd hoped for on that occasion. Large piece of Fish for the other dinner, fries could have been hotter and coleslaw was very good.

Been here any times and never disappoints. The Turkey Rueben is always outstanding. Had Fish Tacos today which was a special offering for lunch. Excellent. Stop at the bakery, it is great. Bring your meal receipt for a discount.
