Rooftop bar serving craft cocktails and seasonal cuisine 15 floors above downtown in the AC Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. Take in views of the San Antonio River Walk, Main Plaza and San Fernando Cathedral.
Our food menu at 1 Watson includes Texas-inspired items such as smoked brisket tacos as well as three varieties of tostadas. Enjoy craft cocktails, beers and wines from select Texas vineyards and beyond. Our libations menu features cocktails made from Texas-made bourbon, vodka and gin.

We have Reservations available for a percentage of our restaurant and the rest of the tables will be on a first come first serve basis. For all reservations, a two-hour time limit will be enforced. We will only hold your table for 20 minutes after your reservation time. Thank you for join us at 1 Watson!

Everything was lovely. Sat out on balcony area and one of the tiles on floor is offset and that made our table move and drinks were almost spilled. Hallway to restroom was very dark, like too dark. Cocktails were refreshing. Food was delicious. Service was great. We couldn’t scan QR code because of sun so we were given another QR code to scan to see menu options. Looking forward to visiting again.

We enjoyed our visit here, as we always do. Love the views from the rooftop seating. Excellent craft cocktails and service. The music was a little loud for us, but we were senior citizens in a setting with lots of younger customers, so not a surprise. The menu has changed, and although the food was good we missed the more extensive appetizer options that were on the old menu. Still, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for rooftop dining.

Our favorite meal in San Antonio. With so many great restaurants to chose from, we were a little nervous about a restaurant attached to a hotel. Glad we read and trusted reviews. Phenomenal food, great atmosphere and attentive staff

First, the view and ambience were great. It did get chilly as the sun went down, but what can you expect (they had an outdoor fire going which helped). I would recommend a reservation (we had one) but they do have some areas along the wall for walk-ins. We had a bottle of prosecco which was good. The food was fine. Our server was friendly, but the service itself was slow. We were in town for a conference so it was our first time here. Not sure we would go back. 🤷🏻‍♂️

As far as service goes, this is definitely the worst service I’ve had a 1 Watson. Every other experience was amazing and that is the reason I chose this place to celebrate my daughter’s 25th birthday. The drinks were amazing! We had a little bit of everything from the Golden Hour Sangria to the Damsel in Distress to a classic Old Fashioned. Credit to Mackenzie, she did an amazing job. Our table of 8 also tried almost every food item on the menu from appetizers such as the loaded wedges, jalapeño poppers and chips and queso to delicious main dishes such as the Mahi Mahi tacos, Branzino Verde, Cilantro Lime Chicken, Enchiladas Verdes and Brisket Tacos. All of the food was unique in flavor and presented beautifully. The cilantro lime chicken could use a bit of seasoning on the chicken but the cilantro lime sauce made up for it. The service was what made this a substandard experience and I was highly disappointed in our server and the team because I know first hand how great of an experience you can have at this restaurant and this experience really caught me off guard. The server was unorganized, unfriendly and not attentive. Upon arrival our party arrived within a 10 minute timespan because we all used and had to wait for the valet (valet was an excellent experience and we love this service!). The server checked on the table after 5 of us were seated but didn’t introduce himself, offer any drinks, bring water or attempt to acknowledge the birthday we were celebrating. My husband forced an introduction so we could learn the servers name (Roy). From then on the service just deteriorated. Towards the end of the dinner the server kept coming by saying “oh, is everyone still doing fantastic, is there anything else you need?” At this point we were all just saying yes so we didn’t have to deal with him. Another server who helped us mentioned this server was new but I’m not sure that makes a difference because he didn’t seem stressed, just apathetic.

The perfect setting for an after work happy hour. The team was very accommodating for a work social when it came to seating & split checks also.
